In the late 60s not only the Chevy Camaro was launched but also this Heuer reference was born.
The story goes way back to the responsible in Switzerland wishing the watch would have a bigger impact on the american market.
It seemed to make sense to share the same name with the well loved and popular car back then to pursue the successful way.
