Baume & Mercier hasn't traditionally gotten a lot of attention from the watch collector elite, and that's OK - they may not be the most exclusive, in-demand watches of the moment, but they pack a lot of punch for their weight class, and offer a tremendous value for the enthusiast-minded!

This model, a Clifton Club, was released at SIHH in 2017 to rave reviews. Borrowing styling cues from classic diving watches of old, the Club features a 42mm case with a thin 10.3mm profile and incredible beveled lugs, unidirectional 60 minute timing bezel, locking crown, and ventilated rubber diving strap. 

This particular version is finished with an ADLC coating to its base stainless steel case, and features a jet-black dial with matching date wheel, orange trim elements, and a healthy portion of Luminova to its indices and oversized handset.

Powered by the workhorse Sellita SW200 automatic movement, the Clifton Club is a great summer watch capable of taking a beating while looking great and wearing about as perfectly as a large modern watch ever could.
